What is Aviva, and Is it Right for You?
When it comes to options for a labiaplasty procedure, there are a few worth considering. However, suppose you want non-surgical labiaplasty with minimal downtime, low risk of side effects, and without the use of general anesthesia. In that case, Aviva is an excellent choice for a labiaplasty that will give you the results you are looking for without the added downtime of a traditional surgical procedure.
What is Aviva?
Aviva is a form of labiaplasty that is non-surgical. It is often performed in-office using only general anesthesia, so you are awake and alert. Since it is non-surgical, all of the risks that are generally associated with surgeries are not of a concern with Aviva (although there are still some risks, as it is a medical procedure). For many women, Aviva can even work better than a traditional labiaplasty procedure, which is one of the reasons this procedure is growing in popularity.
How is Aviva Performed?
Aviva is performed with the use of radiofrequency lasers that eliminate the need for an invasive surgical technique. The procedure does not leave scarring, and, as an added benefit, can reduce the amount of pain felt after the procedure is complete. Because of that, the recovery time is lower than traditional labiaplasty surgeries.
The Aviva procedure is done using a small 1mm incision to insert the local anesthesia, which will keep the procedure pain free. After that, two small incisions (about 2mm each) are made, and the radiofrequency wand is inserted into the area to be treated. The radiofrequency laser reduces the size and appearance of the labia majora and labia minora to the desired appearance.
Is Aviva Right For Me?
Aviva is an excellent choice for many women, as it is a safer and less painful alternative to a traditional labiaplasty procedure. Here are some ways to tell if you would make an ideal candidate for the Aviva procedure:
- You are looking for a minimally invasive labiaplasty procedure.
- You do not have unrealistic expectations for how the procedure will work, and what the results will be like.
- You want a shorter downtime and recovery period.
- You feel embarrassed or unhappy with the size of your labia and seek to change it.
- Chafing and discomfort while you are working out or wearing tight clothing are interfering with your life.
- Less than satisfying sexual encounters are ruining your intimacy.
